I earned my BA in Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan College in 1975 and my MA in Counseling from Liberty University in 1992. In 2001, I earned my Doctorate of Christian Counseling from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State and a National Certified Counselor. I am a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. I am a member of the national and state chapters of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. I am a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
I believe that God is sovereign and infinitely involved in the lives of His children. I believe that salvation is a work of grace from God, the Father through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. Sin separates us from a holy God. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin by His death on the cross. When an individual accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior, he/she enters into a new relationship with God. God's Holy Spirit indwells the believer. The believer is given power for living today and the blessed assurance of forever with God. |
